Who Is Dr Tommaso Grandi?
He graduated with honours in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in 2004, and in 2007 he was awarded a research fellowship at the Department of Neurosciences, Head and Neck, and Rehabilitation at the same university. From 2008 to 2013, he served as an Adjunct Professor of Periodontology.
In 2013, he founded the Tommaso Grandi Dental Clinic, a centre for treatment, research and training in the field of dental implantology.
Since then, he has intensified his research activity in Italy and abroad, collaborating with colleagues of various nationalities on studies focused on immediate loading in implantology.
Research and Training in Advanced Dental Implantology
Dr Tommaso Grandi combines his daily clinical practice with ongoing research and professional development in dental implantology. He is the lead author of scientific studies published in specialised international journals and is a member of the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Oral Implantology, one of the most authoritative journals in the field.
A Reference Point for Colleagues in Complex Implantology Cases with Limited Bone
Dr Grandi is also the author of the book Maxilla-For-All®, dedicated to modern implantology, already regarded as a reference among the most highly valued texts in the field.
He delivers numerous training and continuing education courses for dentists in Italy and abroad, sharing protocols and techniques for managing complex implant cases. Many colleagues turn to him when faced with challenging situations — such as patients with limited bone availability or advanced clinical conditions — referring their patients directly to him for the surgical phase.

At the clinic, he applies protocols developed and validated over time, integrated with computer-guided surgery and a fully digital workflow. This approach makes it possible to manage even the most complex cases with high standards of precision and predictability.
